The Gridiron Club exists to build a strong, supportive foundation for Lake Washington High School Football and help ensure it can maintain long-term success and sustainability while enhancing the experience for players, fans, and coaches alike. Through community engagement, we foster pride, spirit, and excellence both on and off the field. We do this by providing critical resources such as equipment, technology, and special experiences. We invite the community to participate and contribute through volunteering, sponsorships, and events.

I grew up in Bellevue and played football at Bellevue High and the University of San Diego. I live in Rose Hill with my wife Yuri and three kids (Mia, 16, LW Junior, Aiden, 15, 9th grade at LW, and Mason, 12, 7th grader at Rose Hill MS.) I also a coach with the Lake Washington Junior Kangs.
Favorite thing about football: When all the hard work translates into a great play and seeing the fans reaction
One interesting thing about me: I work in the business of space

I grew up in Australia and have been living in the U.S. for 25 years. Now, I call Kirkland home with my husband Ben and our two children, Kai, 17, senior at LWHS, and Sienna, 15, Sophomore at Bellevue Christian —and our furbaby Coco.
My favorite part of being involved with football is the chance to give back to the Lake Washington community. I love cheering on my son as he plays the sports he loves, while also making incredible friendships with other parents—it's truly a big, welcoming family.
An interesting fact about me: I’m also a Kang, but the original one! I played Netball throughout high school and college, and 20 years ago, I started PNW Netball in Seattle, a league that now competes across the U.S.

About me: I grew up in Taiwan, and moved to the US since 2002. We have lived in the Eastside since 2005, and most currently live in Redmond with my fiance Ken and three kids (Ethan 19 in college / Karson 15 at LW Sophomore / and Alyson 12 at Rose Hill MS 6th grade).
My favorite part of being involved in football: The opportunity to watch the kids and cheer for them, and most excited about seeing the young athletes' enthusiasm about football and working hard together. It is amazing being part of the community that we truly lift one another to support our children in sports.
An interesting fact about me: I am not shy cheering from the bleachers and may also be one of the loudest moms.

About me: I grew up near Vancouver, BC but have called Kirkland home for the past 16 years. My husband Josh, daughter Sophia (freshman at the University of Toronto) and son Ronin (senior at LWHS) were also all born in Canada. I only really started watching Football 5 years ago when Ronin started playing tackle and now I am hooked!
Favorite thing about Football: Without a doubt it has to be the camaraderie. The bond that develops between the players is unmatched and I have met some of my closest friends through the program.
An interesting fact about me: I am passionate about helping people in recovery.

About me: I grew up on Mercer Island and played every sport there was because I loved to be active and social. I’ve been living in Kirkland for 8 years now with my husband Russ and our 4 kids (Noam is a freshman @ Indiana U, Ami is a Junior @ LW, Gefen is a Freshman @ LW and Sagee is a 6th grader at KiMS).
Favorite thing about football: I love football because of the energy, teamwork and the way it brings community together. To watch my boys play a sport they love brings me so much joy.
An interesting fact about me: I love to atv/dirt bike!
