Our Football Team’s partnership with the Lake Washington Track Program has been a large contributor to the success of our athletes and program. Attached is some information regarding the speed development program that Track Coaches will be offering beginning Jan 3rd.
Speed Development, Winter, 2022 Speed Development will be 3 days per week – Mondays and Thursdays on the track at 3:10, Wednesdays in the New Gym at 1:15. Sessions will be less than one hour long, except possibly on timed 40’s days. Depending on the number of participants, those days may take a few minutes longer than an hour. The sessions will include sprint technique training, ballistic movement drills, and short sprinting. Also, all athletes will be timed electronically in the 40-yard sprint and flying 10-meter max speed every other Monday in order to track improvement.
